1.5 Million Pints of Beer in 10 Years: Tap House Grill Prepares to Celebrate

Over the past 10 years, Tap House Grill (locations in Seattle and Bellevue) has served 1.5 million pints of beer. Tap House Grill is getting ready to celebrate its 10th Anniversary in a big way. The ongoing party starts this Thursday, August 16 and continues through August 28. This Thursday marks the start of IPA Week at the Tap House Grill. In all, 45 different IPAs will be poured during IPA Week.

Throughout IPA week, and the ongoing anniversary celebration, guests can enter to win various prizes, including a trip to Belgium. The grand prize package includes airfare for two, special brewery tours, and a four-night stay in Brussels.

“We’re going to celebrate in a big way,” said Paul Reder, owner of the Tap House Grill. “All our guests who visit us from our IPA Week through our anniversary, (August 16 through the 26) can enter to win various prizes. The grand prize is a trip for two to Brussels, Belgium to visit two of the breweries who supply to Tap House Grill; Timmerman’s and Duvel Brewery. Both breweries will include a brewery tour, meal and tasting. The winners will receive airfare from Tap House Grill and four nights stay at The Courtyard by Marriott Brussels Hotel.”

“Other anniversary prizes include lunch and dinner, once a month for a year at Tap House and a Tap House Growler filled once a week for a year,” said Reder.

Both the Seattle and Bellevue Tap House Grill locations will be hold special events and parties throughout the anniversary celebration. Among them, a private party for members of the 160 Club, a select group of loyal customers who have experienced all 160 beers on tap.

Ten local breweries have brewed ten special beers exclusively for Tap House Grill to commorate the occasion.

The Tap House celebration also includes the tapping of a new collaboration beer: an Imperial Alt brewed by Skagit River, Ninkasi and Naked City Breweries.

“This beer is collectively being created and brewed specially for the anniversary,” said Bellevue General Manager, Patrice Fuller. “These kegs will be tapped on August 27th, the day of our 160 Club parties, at both of our restaurants. These members will be the first to taste and experience this special beer then we will offer it to our regular guests.”
