6th Annual Gig Harbor Beer Festival, May 20th

CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED. WE HAVE CONTACTED THE WINNER.

The 6th annual Gig Harbor Beer Festival happens on Saturday, May 20th and we are giving away a pair of tickets. To enter the giveaway, simply leave a comment below telling us which of the participating breweries is your favorite. On Monday, May 15th we will pick a winner at random from all who leave comments. See the list of breweries below. Festival organizers expect another sellout this year.

The event takes place at the Uptown Gig Harbor Pavilion from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM and benefits the Gig Harbor Kiwanis, an organization that has raised funds and planned a variety of service projects that improve the lives of children, their families, and the Gig Harbor community.

Enjoy beer from more than 25 breweries along with live music. The opening musical act for this year’s event is singer/songwriter Kristen Marlo, followed by the Cottonwood Cutups. Fan-favorite Sounds Like Delores will close the festival.

Tickets are $30 and can be purchased in advance here:

You can also purchase paper tickets at Wet Coast Brewing’s Gig Harbor taproom at 6820 Kimball Dr., and Gig Harbor Brewing’s Tacoma taproom at 3120 S. Tacoma Way while supplies last.

  1. Oh, yikes, Slippery Pig! A friend and I did a Bremerton ferry run during the first Bremerton Beer Fest and tooled around the Peninsula/Islands beforehand. Slippery Pig was fabulous. Nicest people and great beer.

  2. Valholl Brewing Co.

A must stop in for us on our semi regular trips to Poulsbo.

Katie is the best damn beertender around, and the beer and atmosphere there are great!

  3. Silver City, Fish, Harmon, Fremont… We are so lucky to have such a great local brewing community.

  4. Odd Otter hands down. The beer. The people. The name. The logo. And don’t even get me started about the best hoodies on the planet!
