7 Seas Brewing introduces new branding and packaging

7 Seas Brewing introduces new branding and packaging for its beer.

The Familiar Big Red 7 Gets a New Look

It was just over ten years ago that 7 Seas Brewing became the first Washington craft brewery to package its beer in aluminum cans. Hard to believe that something so pervasive today was so novel at the time. In 2010 it seemed like innovation, but it was really more like an evolutionary first step for the local beer biz. Evolution continues at 7 Seas Brewing as the company introduces new branding and new packaging.

According to Mike Runion, the co-founder and president at 7 Seas, “After 10 years of brewing beer and packaging in cans, we are super excited to continue our evolution with a little refresh and have our brand represent where we are today and we think “You’ll Like It.”. In addition, we have some fun new releases and formats being released.” He goes on to say, “Even in these interesting times we are amidst, no time like the present.”

The new branding focuses less on figurative language and more on the exact beer style. The year-round beers and the limited-release beers will now be available in 6-pack cartons of 12-ounce cans. The new carton and can designs sport a consistent, recognizable, and eye-catching look. In addition to the 12-ounce cans, the Double IPA will get a new 19.2-ounce can. Distributed by Columbia Distributing, 7 Seas beers are available across Washington state.
