99 Bottles of beer on the Blog, 99 Bottles of beer…

Today we would like to welcome a new sponsor: 99 Bottles beer store in Federal Way. We are happy to be in any way associated with what we believe to be one of Washington’s finest bottle shops. Apparently our admiration is not unique: 99 Bottles was voted Best Beer Store in the 2009 Evening Magazine Best of Western Washington viewers’ poll.

Don’t let the name fool you. 99 Bottles usually stocks closer to 1,000 beers, meads, and ciders. When you enter the store you’ll find 40 feet of head-to-toe refrigeration housing beers from around the world, across the country, and down the street. To help know what you’re looking at, and to help you easily find what you’re looking for, 99 Bottles organizes the beer logically, with plenty of indicators and descriptions. It’s also a great place to find a gift for the beer lover in your life, with a selection of appropriate glassware, t-shirts, swag, and 99 Bottles gift cards.

99 Bottles feels refined. It is clean, organized, and almost fancy. That doesn’t mean you should expect a highfalutin, snooty salesperson to glom on to you when you enter the store. Instead, the atmosphere is comfortable and invites slow browsing. If you need help, someone who shares your passion for great beer will help you find what you’re looking for or help you discover something new.

Every Wednesday, 99 Bottles offers two beer samples for just one buck. It’s called “The Weekly Pick” and it’s a heck of a deal, featuring beers selected by the staff served from 4:00 – 8:00. Stop by anytime during the Weekly Pick hours, throw down a buck and sample some brew. Get on their mailing list (below) to stay informed about what they’re pouring.

Mailing list: “The Weekly Brews” keeps you informed about what’s happening at 99 Bottles and beyond. Join the mailing list now.
