On Saturday, January 27th the Washington Beer Commission presents the 9th Annual Belgianfest, a celebration of Washington-brewed, Belgian-style beers. Below we share information about the event, including a list of participating breweries.
Nine years ago, when Belgianfest was born, nobody was really sure if our fascination with locally brewed Belgian-style beers was just a fad or if it was destined to become a regular part of our beer diet. Suffice it to say, not a fad. Today, darn near every brewery in the state makes a saison, a dubble, a wit bier, or some other homage to the Belgian tradition.
That first year of Belgianfest, the event was held in what now seems like an impossibly tiny event space in Georgetown. Now, Belgianfest takes over the Fisher Pavilion at Seattle Center, features over 100 Belgian-inspired beers from 40 local breweries, and usually sells out. Both sessions, the afternoon session and the evening session. Get your tickets now.

Event Info
Saturday, January 27th
Session 1: Noon-4:00 pm
Session 2: 5:30-9:30 pm.
Admission is $37 in advance or $45 at the door, which includes a tasting glass and ten 4-oz samples. Separate tickets are required for each session.
