We’ve long been waiting for more of Yakima Craft Brewing’s beer to make it over the mountains to the Seattle area. It’s a rare treat for sure. Apparently they’ve gotten some bottles in at 99 Bottles in Federal Way, including the 1982, Amber, Bad Monkey, IPA, Pale, Twin Stag, and Good Monkey. They have them all available in 22 oz. bottles. If you haven’t tried any Yakima Craft Brewing beer yet, it’s very good.
We don”t know if any other bottle shops or pubs have it. Just sharing what we know. If you know of somewhere else west of the mountains currently selling or serving Yakima beer, leave a comment.
The Green Frog in Bellingham currently has the 1982 and Twin Stag on. They’ve had the IPA before as well. There is a new small distributor out of Anacortes, I believe, that is serving the 4th Corner.
Whidbey Beer Works has the IPA, 1982, Amber Ale and the Pale Ale and the Bad Monkey for a few weeks now. Whidbey Beer Works is in Oak Harbor, WA at 710 SE Fidalgo Ace.
At The Red Hot in Tacoma, we usually put YCB on draft (IPA, Good & Bad Monkey, Pale) every few months. Look for a YCB Brewers Night @TRH in the near future.
