  1. Okay, I call lame – for the first time ever – on EB Burien, a place I generally like on my occasional visits there. I called them to book over the phone, and was told I have to come to the pub in Burien to buy a ticket for this event, not possible over the phone. This is a brewery that prides itself on organic sourcing, biodiesel truck, and other green initiatives, but they want me to drive down from my home in West Seattle just to buy a ticket? What’s up with that?

  2. A followup: I called Tuesday night, 2/3/09, and was able to secure a reservation over the phone, giving them my CC number over the phone. It’s filling up fast and is very likely to sell out soon. All’s well the ends, etc.
