Bainbridge Brewing celebrates 5th Anniversary this weekend

 

Bainbridge Brewing celebrates its fifth anniversary this weekend (Friday, June 23rd and Saturday, June 24th) at the brewery and taproom on Bainbridge Islands. The celebration involves tapping four previous anniversary beers along with the introduction of the 5th Anniversary Ale, a whiskey barrel aged mocha imperial porter. A limited number of bottles will be available.

This year it’s a WHISKEY BARREL AGED MOCHA IMPERIAL PORTER. Getting this far is a group effort and we couldn’t have done it without a little help from all our friends and neighbors. So we aged the beer in whiskey barrels from Bainbridge Organic Distillers, added cacao nibs roasted for us by Powell & Jones Fine Chocolates, and blended in cold brew coffee we brewed with the excellent beans from Storyville Coffee Company! It’s a complex and delicious blend that will age beautifully. On tap and in a limited run of 900 wax dipped bottles, with a small number of cases making their way to specialty beer shops around Western Washington starting next week. 8.5% ABV.

Anniversary beers are designed with age in mind, and we’ll tap, for these two days only:

1st Anniversary – Cab Sav Barrel Wheatwine
3rd Anniversary – Whiskey Barrel Aged Doppelbock
4th Anniversary – Bourbon Barrel Chocolate Imperial Stout
5th Anniversary – Whiskey Barrel Mocha Imperial Porter

All four available individually, or as a special Anniversary Flight.

Plus, a special cask firkin of Battle Point Stout with Cacao Nibs, Lapsang Souchong Tea, and Star Anise!

We will also have a limited run of commerative 5th Anniversary glasses for sale!

Saturday night from 6-9 local band Out of Order is playing!

For food vendors, on Friday Grilled Bri will be out front, and Saturday it’s Bainbridge Island Barbeque.
