The Barking Dog Helps a Worthy Cause

Join the folks at Ballard’s Barking Dog Alehouse on Thursday, February 5th for a fun filled evening of trivia, great eats and drinks, and fabulous auction items, all to benefit a great cause, the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society.  All you have to do to support the cause is stop by and have a beer.

We stopped by the Barking Dog last night and chatted up owner, Steve Harvey. He told us that they’ll be donating 20% of all beer sales. That’s really cool because it means you don’t have to do anything but drink beer to support the cause.

The Silent Auction opens at 6:30pm and includes graciously donated items such as spa services, restaurant gift certificates, autographed sports memorabilia, a training day with the Seattle Police Department’s SWAT Team, and much, much more. The auction closes at 9pm and then the Team Trivia begins, with at least one 80’s category guaranteed! All proceeds will benefit the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society in their race to cure blood cancers which affect children more than any other cancer.
