Barleywine and a bump at Brother Barrel this Wednesday

If you’ve yet to visit Brother Barrel, perhaps this will entice you. Elliott Bay Brewing‘s fourth location is different that the company’s other three locations. Check out our post about it. Brother Barrel is a grownups-only eatery and bar focused on top shelf liquor and barrel-aged beers. On Wednesday, March 21 they’ll host Barleywine and a Bump, an event that pairs barrel-aged barleywines with liquor.

They’ll serve four different barrel-aged barleywines, each paired with a half-oz shot of liquor. Each pairing will be $6 for four ounces of barleywine and the bump.

Here are the pairings:

Elliott Bay Barbados Rum Barrel Portside – Plantation 5 Year Barbados Rum
Elliott Bay Bourbon Barrel Portside – JP Trodden Bourbon
Black Raven Whiskey Barrel Old Birdbrain – Fremont Mischief Dark Northern Rye Whiskey
Great Divide Whiskey Barrel Old Ruffian – 2 Bar Bourbon
