The Parkway Tavern’s annual Barleywine Festival happens next weekend. In addition to a lot of great Barleywine, this year’s two-day event features music and food. The festival runs from 2:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 28th and Sunday, April 29th. The Parkway is trying something a little different this year. On Saturday they’ll have a tented beer garden where you can enjoy live bluegrass music from Barleywine Revival. They will also be serving up some BBQ grub to accompany all the delicious barleywine.
On Sunday the Parkway hosts the 3rd Annual Barley Brunch from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tickets are limited and selling fast. Food will be provided by Tacoma’s own Jonz Catering.
