Bartell Drugs taps into the power of classic rock, and beer

Last July we told you about the plan for Bellevue Brewing to team-up with KZOK to create beers to benefit worthy causes. The latest beer in that series will soon be available at Bartell Drugs. On Friday, April 22nd they’ll begin filling growlers of Electric Citrus IPA. They kick it all off with a “Beer Stop” party at the Bartell Drugs location in Seattle’s South Lake Union district.

Our local drug store chain has made an impressive commitment to good, local beer recently. In addition to offering growler fills at select locations, they’ve also teamed up with local breweries to create unique beers.

In February of this year Bartell Drugs they partnered with Two Beers Brewing to create a new IPA (read about it) and in October of last year they hooked up with Schooner Exact Brewing to create a beer for Bartell’s 125th anniversary (read about it).
