A Beer & Chocolate Extravaganza for a Worthy Cause

Lisa Uhrich, one of the beer divas at Georgetown Brewing, has a passion for beer and a passion for chocolate. Lucky for Lisa, she works for a company that is willing to let her express her love for both. Each year Georgetown Brewing produces a beer bearing her name: Lisa’s “the sun is trying to kill me” Chocolate Stout.

On Sunday, February 10th the brewery will host a party to benefit Autism Speaks, the nation’s largest Autism science and advocacy organization. Ticket are on sale now. The event will feature live music, great beer, and lots and lots of chocolate. Delectable treats from Theo Chocolate will be paired with your favorite Georgetown beers. Other snacks will be provided by Macrina Bakery and Molly Moon’s Ice Cream. Partygoers will also get to be the first to sample this year’s batch of Lisa’s “the sun is trying to kill me” Chocolate Stout.
And it is all to benefit a very worthy cause!

Here is more information straight from the source:

It’s the Sunday before Valentine’s Day, so what better way to celebrate than with beer and chocolate?
