Lady Beer Blog here, with news of one of my favorite fermented pairings – beer and chocolate. Next Wednesday, May 13th, from 4 to 6 p.m., The Chocolate Box and Pike Brewing will host a new local chocolatier, Matt Carter of Port Orchard’s Carters Chocolates, and formerly the pastry chef at Pike. Four Carters Chocolates will be paired with four beers from Pike.
