Beer Church Pale Ale ready to get to work

We’ve talked about this here on the Blog already, but we want to remind you that tomorrow (Tuesday, Nov. 23rd) is the worldwide release of Beer Church Pale Ale. The official release party is at the Beveridge Place Pub where the beer will go on tap when the pub opens at 3:00. The Beer Church high clergy will be there to make things official at 6:00.

This beer was brewed at Big Al Brewing to Beer Church’s specifications. It has been specially formulated to do good deeds. The beer’s very existence benefits the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. That is, a portion of the proceeds from all of the beer sold is being donated to the cause. What’s more, the Beveridge Place Pub has graciously offered to donate one dollar for every pint sold.

The beer made a special, sneak-peek premier on Saturday night at Beer Church Turkey Bowl. In less than 3 hours nearly three kegs were sold. (That is, three 1/2 barrel kegs in three hours.) Apparently the crowd liked it. We will soon be sharing information about where else you can get Beer Church Pale Ale. It is being distributed to a number of pubs in the Seattle area.

Beer Church Pale Ale is an aggressively hopped Pale Ale. Visually it is pretty dark for a Pale Ale, as the pictures below show, but don’t let that fool you. This beer weighs in at a surprisingly modest 5.3% ABV. There is a nice malt body, but the hop profile will grab much of your attention. You can read more about the beer here.
