Coloring Books, Paper Airplanes, and Lots of Beer Mark the Occasion
The Beer Junction celebrates its 9th Anniversary starting today (Thursday, June 27th) at 11:00 AM with the release of this year’s anniversary IPA, Thing On The Wing IPA, brewed in collaboration with Airways Brewing. The beer will be available on draft and in 16-ounce cans. Also, they’ve got some other fun stuff planned.
At 5:00 PM Alex and Robby from Airways Brewing join the party to help celebrate the big day. Anniversary shirts and glassware will be available starting at 11:00 AM (while supplies last). This will not be a normal Thursday night tasting event, so come hang out with the crew and enjoy some of the anniversary beer, other special beers, and just have a good time.
For the occasion, they’ll tap seven kegs from Airways Brewing (see below) along with some other beers pulled from the cellar. Also, they’re bringing back the very popular Beer Junction coloring book contest. On top of that, they’ll show two episodes of Twilight Zone. Finally, some of the crew from the Museum of Flight public programs team will offer hands-on aviation activities. What? Think, paper airplanes and a vacuum chamber.
Airways Brewing Kegs:
Thing On The Wing IPA
Luxury Jet IPA
Biergarten Kellerbier (collaboration with Headless Mumby)
Spirit of Aloha IPA

It’s a coloring book contest! The Beer Junction has a few different coloring book pages for you to choose from (an example is shown below). They’ll have colored pencils and crayons at the bar or you can take them home and color them at your leisure. Best coloring book page(s) will win Beer Junction gear and/or gift cards. You can grab the coloring sheets from the retail counter and then turn them back in by Thursday, July 11th.
