The Washington Beer Commission has now finalized the list of beers that will be poured at this Saturday’s Bremerton Summer Brewfest. For more information about the event, see our previous posts or visit the official website. Advance tickets are on sale and they save you a five bucks, by the way.
Below we list the breweries along with the beers they will be pouring at the event.
American Brewing, Edmonds
1) Piper’s Scotch Ale. This Scotch Ale is a smooth, malty sweet treat! It has a beautiful, coppery red color. You will enjoy the rich mouthfeel of this ale. The overall hop characters are very low highlighting the rich malty sweetness. 32 IBUs 6% ABV
2) American Blonde. This Blonde Ale is a golden straw color and appears a bit cloudy due to being unfiltered. It has delicate hop notes and a citrusy aroma. A crisp and dry palate with a touch of sweetness and low bitterness. Higher carbonation adds to the overall experience, light in body and very refreshing. A real thirst quenching beer. 16 IBUs 4.5% ABV
Bainbridge Island Brewing, Bainbridge Island
1) Point White Wit. Point White Wit is our seasonal Belgian-‐style Witbier, brewed in the traditional manner with pilsner malt, wheat and oats, spiced with sweet and bitter orange peel and Indian coriander, and fermented with a classic wit strain. 25 IBUs 5.5% ABV
2) Kommuter Kolsch. Our Kolsch-‐style ale, Kommuter uses German malt and yeast to produce a clean, lager-‐like beer with a malty backbone and a pleasant, slightly fruity aroma with a hint of noble hops. 25 IBUs 5.4% ABV
Barhop Brewing, Port Angeles
1) PA -‐ 7 American Pale Ale PA -‐ 7 is a strong, yet balanced, American Pale Ale with a soft, velvety mouth, and spicy undertones. PA -‐ 7 has a unique malt bill, which includes Caramel-‐Crystal, and Belgian Malts. The Hop profile of PA -‐ 7 includes Centennial, Cascade and Nugget hops. 7% ABV
2) Redneck Logger. Redneck Logger is an easy drinking West Coast Style Pale Ale. The malt bill consists of 2 row pale, carapils and light crystal malt. We use a two hop profile of Centennial and Cascade to create a light, fresh, slightly herbal ale. This beer is for our brewery neighbors, a group of hard working men who haul logs for the timber industry. 5.4% ABV
Der Blokken Brewery, Bremerton
1) Sacred Hop. A perfectly balanced IPA, with a smooth malty body, and a crisp hoppy finish. 8% ABV

Diamond Knot Craft Brewing, Mukilteo
1) India Pale Ale Copper-‐colored with a malty character up front. Intensely bitter with hints of grapefruit and cedar imparted by heavy-‐handed additions of Galena and Columbus hops. 40 IBUs 6.2% ABV
2) Blonde Ale. Based on a pre-‐Prohibition lager recipe, this is a perfect summer session beer. Very light yet surprisingly complex due to the diverse grain bill. Hallertauer hops lend a slightly spicy, herbal finish. 13 IBUs 4.2% ABV
Dick’s Brewing Company, Centralia
1) Dick’s Golden Ale. This offering from Dick’s is one of the lighter beers we produce. That doesn’t mean it is light in flavor! A traditional British golden ale brewed with 2-‐row malted barley and a touch of crystal malt, balanced with a substantial amount of hops. 5.2% ABV
2)Dick Danger Ale. Our flagship beer. A large percentage of black malt gives this distinctive ale its dark brown black color and that slightly roasted flavor. Magnum hops provide a backbone of bitterness and large additions of Mt. Hood hops later in the boil come through in the finish. The result is a highly drinkable, superb dark ale which defies style guidelines and leaves you wanting more. 5.2% ABV
Elysian Brewing Company, Seattle
1) Men’s Room Original Red. Brewed for the KISW radio program of the same name, Men’s Room is amber in color with a light hop aroma and a toasty malt finish. Brewed with crisp 77 Crystal, Munich, Cara-‐hell, Cara-‐red, and Cara-‐vienne. Bittered with Chinook and finished with Cascade. Starting gravity 14 degrees plato (1.057), alcohol 4.3% by weight, 5.6% ABV.
2) The Immortal IPA. A Northwest interpretation of a classic English style, golden copper in color and loaded with New World hop flavor and aroma. Brewed with Pale, Munich, Crystal and Cara-‐hell malts. Bittered with Chinook, finished with Amarillo and Centennial hops. Starting gravity 15.5° Plato (1.063), alcohol 5.25% by weight, 6.3% by volume. 54 IBU.
3) Dragonstooth Stout: Made with 10% rolled oats, roasted barley, Crystal, Munich and chocolate malts. Bittered with Magnum, finished with Cascade and Centennial hops. 36 IBU. Starting gravity 20° Plato (1.080), alcohol 6.2% by weight, 7.45% by volume.
4) Space Dust IPA: A Totally Nebular IPA Castle Pale Ale base malt, combined with small amounts of Great Western C-‐15 and DextraPils, gives this beer a bright and hazy milky way hue. Chinook hops were added at the beginning and middle of the boil, followed by late and dry additions of Citra and Amarillo, giving this beer an out-‐of-‐this-‐world hop flavor! OG 16.8, 62 IBUs ABV 7.2%
Fremont Brewing, Seattle
1) Summer Ale. Tangerine flower in a glass, endless days distilled into nectar of barley and hops. One grain, one hop. 5.2% ABV
2) Interurban IPA. TBA Interurban India Pale is a session beer, eminently drinkable throughout the year. 6.2% ABV
3)Dark Star Oatmeal Stout w/Oak, Hazelnut & Smoked Black Pepper Oatmeal Stout with added hints of Oak, Hazelnut and Smoked Black Pepper. 8.0% ABV
4) Wandering Wheat w/ Lemon Grass & Pink Peppercorns Unfiltered Wheat Ale with the addition of Lemon Grass & Pink Peppercorns.
Georgetown Brewery, Seattle
1) Manny’s Pale Ale. Unfiltered Hoppy Pale ale, with a malty middle and a clean finish. 5.3% ABV
2) Lucille IPA. Floral, citrusy and awesome. Anything so innocent and built like that just gotta be named Lucille. 6.8% ABV
Grove Street Brewhouse, Shelton
1) Rye-‐Rish. Red Rye Ale A Hoppy Hybrid Rye Pale Ale & Irish Red Ale. Our Rye-‐Rish has a Bready malt body with a touch of a subdued spice note from both the Hops and Rye malt. 44 IBUs 5.8% ABV
2) IPAcolypse. This Northwest-‐style IPA brewed with Yakima grown hops starts with an aggressive hop bite, which is balanced by a solid malt base and finishes with a pleasant Grapefruit-‐like flavor and aroma. 72 IBUs 7.2% ABV
3) Just BEET IT. This Northwest Pale Ale is brewed with 75 lbs of Real Beets painstakingly cut, sliced, diced, and juiced by Grove Street Staff. The beets were used in the mash, boil, and in the Fermentor, giving this hoppy pale a not so pale RED Color. 64 IBUs 6.7% ABV
Hale’s Ales Brewery and Pubs, Seattle & Silverdale
1) Hale’s Supergoose IPA. Aggressively Dry Hopped and rich in hop aroma and flavor, Hale’s Supergoose is nonetheless well balanced and drinkable. If you love NW IPA’s you gotta try Hale’s Supergoose. 87 IBUs 7.1%ABV
2) Hale’s Kolsch.Hale’s version of this traditional German light ale won a gold medal in the 2010 GABF. It’s similar to a pilsner in flavor, light, subtle and thirst quenching. A great warm weather beer. 19 IBUs 5% ABV
3) Hales “25” Belgian. The first edition of this beer was brewed to celebrate Hales 25th anniversary back in 2008 (if you do the math that means we are 30 years old next year!). True to style “25” is moderately strong, very malty and possesses the unique flavors imparted by Belgian yeast. 42 IBUs 8.4% ABV
4) Hale’s Chardonnay Wit. A tart refreshing beer aged in Hungarian Chardonnay barrels. Oak, green grape and citrusy acidity prevail. A complex but easy drinking treat, brewed for fun and festivals. 3 IBUs 5.2% ABV
5) Aftermath Imperial IPA. Rich, full and complex, Aftermath Imperial IPA is, simply put, a HUGE IPA! Limited supply so get it while you can. 100+ IBUs 9.2% ABV
Harmon Brewing, Tacoma
1) Mt. Takhoma Blonde. A light bodied, crisp and refreshing brew. German Pilsner malt and a touch of wheat. Liberty hops provide balance. 18 IBUs 4.4% ABV
2) One Hope Wonder IPA. Brewed with Sterling Hops and 3 malted barleys, including Belgian Chateau Abby barley. Dry hopped. 100 IBUs 6.1% ABV
Hood Canal Brewery, Kingston
1) Agate Pass Amber Agate Pass Amber. is a nice hoppy amber ale with a dark honey color. The aroma includes nuts and honey, with a pear sweetness. Then you get some toast and honey, followed by steadily increasing hop flavors. 5.5% ABV
2) Dabob Bay IPA. Dabob Bay IPA has a golden color and a prominent hop flavor provided by numerous hop additions during the boil and dry hopping in the kegs. The supportive malt flavors and body make this ale a great multi-‐dimensional beer. The original gravity is 1066 and it finishes at 1016. 63 IBUs 6% ABV
3) Big Beef Oatmeal Stout. Big Beef Oatmeal Stout has a wonderful flavor of roasted barley grains that have been blended with rolled oats to give this stout a unique mouth feel that has a dry finish. Just enough Northern Brewer hops have been added to give this creamy-‐headed ale a fine balance. 5% ABV
Iron Horse Brewery, Ellensburg
1) Quilter’s Irish Death. Dark Sweet Smooth Ale. 7.8% ABV

Mac & Jack’s Brewing, Redmond
1) African Amber. This beer erupts with a floral, hoppy taste, followed by a well rounded malty middle, finishing with a nicely organic hop flavor. Locally sourced two row grain and a blend of specialty malts give our amber its rich taste. Further complexity is achieved by leaving the beer unfiltered, providing exceptional flavor, as well as giving our amber its unique “cloudy” look. Lastly, we actually place a bag of fresh, locally grown, Yakima valley hops in each keg.
2) Two Tun IPA. Mac & Jack’s IPA is a refreshing, smooth, & balanced India Pale Ale. Using a variety of specialty malts and plenty of locally grown Yakima valley hops, we have created an IPA that has great hop flavor without being bitter. Pale roasted malts give our IPA a deep golden hue, and solid malt backbone, which nicely compliments its crisp hop finish. Copious quantities of hops are added very late in the boil giving the beer its floral aroma and hop forward character.
3) Cascadian Dark Ale. Pale & dark roasted malts join together with generous portions of Yakima Valley hops in this unique new style of beer that was born in the Northwest. All the rich malty goodness you would expect from dark ale is accented by the hop kick of an IPA. Citrus and floral aroma is complimented by velvety smooth roasted malt flavor, followed by a distinctive dry hop finish. A Northwest style of beer which boldly exhibits the wealth of local ingredients that make this such a great beer region.
Odin Brewing, Seattle
1) Odin’s Gift. Odin’s Gift is a Juniper Amber Ale, a bold yet balanced filtered ale that can be paired with a variety of great foods or enjoyed by itself. It is brewed in small handcrafted batches with just the right amount of hops and juniper berries to deliver a unique and fresh aroma, flavor, and finish. 28 IBUs 5.4% ABV
2) Freya’s Gold. Freya’s Gold – Kolsch Style Ale is a light, crisp, and refreshing ale. This ale goes through a long cold conditioning phase much like a lager to blend and smooth out the flavors. Freya’s Gold is also balanced with acidulated malt and brewed with a touch of ginger to give a unique taste and drinking experience. 23 IBUs 4.5% ABV
3) Viking Gold. Viking Gold– XPA is a brew that takes on a unique Craft/Import blended style with a rich malt forward aroma, a full flavor of citrus and light bread, and a combined bite of yeast, noble hops and faint wheat that quickly passes to a tangy, very refreshing finish. 25 IBUs 4.5% ABV

Redhook Brewery, Woodinville
1) Sunnyside Up. Sunnyside Up is a Peached Triple, a subtly sweet strong ale with a high carbonation level adding an effervescent quality akin to champagne. Peaches were added post fermentation. The fruity, spicy and warming characteristics balance with the soft malts to create an easy-‐to-‐drink yet complex brew. At 10.2% ABV, this peached triple is ready to drink now, but can also be cellared for up to 2 years to intensify the flavor.
2) Wit. Redhook’s twist on the Belgian style ale is the addition of fresh ginger, which adds a refreshing snappiness to this lighter-‐bodied wheat beer. Redhook Wit is perfect for the warm summer months of outdoor BBQ-‐ing, sitting by the pool, or just taking a break by hanging inside enjoying the AC and watching old re-‐runs of Gilligan’s Island. 8 IBU 5.3% ABV
3) Redhook IPA. The generous addition of hops both during the boil and at the end of the fermentation process (dry-‐hopping) gives our India Pale Ale its characteristic bitterness and piney citrus aroma and flavor. The medium body, crisp finish, and moderate alcohol and IBU levels makes this one of America’s most drinkable and best-‐selling IPAs. 44 IBUs 6.5% ABV
Roslyn Brewing, Roslyn
1) Roslyn Belgian Ale. This unfiltered, Belgian-‐Style Ale is deep golden in color and uses traditional Belgian malts and yeast, with an added uniqueness from the Calypso hop variety producing a smooth drinking beer with fruit aromas and a subtle bitterness. 48 IBUs 6.5% ABV 2) Brookside Pale Lager A pale lager beer made without the darker malts that we use in Roslyn Beer. It is hopped primarily with Yakima Hallertau hops, and may remind you of a beer you’d find at a small gasthaus in Germany. It is especially popular with people who like full-‐bodied, lighter beers with mild hopping, and is named for the Brookside neighborhood of Roslyn. 25 IBUs 4.5% ABV
Schooner EXACT Brewing, Seattle
1) 3 Grid IPA. A northwest-‐style IPA uses a blend of hops from Yakima to give it a big, juicy, tropical, citrus flavor. The light caramel and soft bready malts balance but don’t interfere with the big hop character. It finishes dry leaving you ready for more. 62 IBUs 6.7% ABV
2) Seamstress Union Raspberry-‐Wheat Ale. What’s not to love about a pink, tart but sweet and surprisingly refreshing wheat ale?

1) Ridgetop Red Ale. This Red Ale Rocks! Full-‐bodied and smooth with a sweet caramel flavor balanced with Northwest Liberty hops for a refreshing finish. Hops: Liberty. 15 IBUs 6% ABV
2) Saint Florian IPA. Saint Florian, the Patron Saint of Firefighters, is now a Northwest IPA. A portion of Saint Florian’s proceeds will go to a Washington State Council of Firefighters benevolent fund. Silver City Brewery has a long standing partnership & tradition of working with our local Firefighters. The Benevolent Fund supports firefighters and their families as well as the general public, in their time of need.
3) Ziggy Zoggy Summer Lager. Ziggy Zoggy is an unfiltered lager that balances a crisp and elegant honey-‐like malt flavor with assertive, classic German hop character. Brewed in the tradition of German style “Zwickelbier. “Ziggy Zoggy, Ziggy Zoggy. Oy! Oy! Oy!” Hops: Sterling. 33 IBUs 5% ABV
4) Whoop Pass Cask Conditioned. Without a doubt, the boldest and hoppiest mother of a brew Silver City has ever created. More than 50lbs of Washington State Cascade and Columbus hops are infused, injected or otherwise inflicted upon a single 15 barrel batch. Welcome to hop country! Hops: Columbus, Cascade. 85 IBUs 8.5% ABV
Slippery Pig Brewery, Poulsbo
1) Hog’s Breath Hefe. This beer is really more of an imperial wheat, at 10% ABV, but the name just kind of stuck. We utilize a pound and a half of lemon verbena, grown on our farm in Poulsbo, per bbl for the Hog’s Breath.
2) Dirty Tail Dandelion Bitter. This 5.5% ABV bitter, is brewed with 10lbs of dandelions per bbl for bittering.
Snoqualmie Falls Brewing, Snoqualmie
1) Schooner Zodiac Kolsch. Our Zodiac Kolsch is a straw-‐yellow color that has just a bit of wheat malt in the grist bill, and prominently but not excessively hopped with Spalt hops from Germany to insure its pedigree. The palate is light-‐med bodied, biscuit malt with herbal spiciness from the Spalt, and the finish is very dry and crisp. 1.046 (11.5 Plato) OG, 26 IBUs
2) Wildcat IPA. A truly balance hop monster. 100% Columbus hops gives this northwest favorite its 75 IBUs. Snoqualmie Falls’ original and still best selling beer.
Sound Brewery, Poulsbo
1) Sommerweizen. A common beer style in Southern Germany, the Sommerweizen is clear and clean with a delicate aroma of wheat, light fruit, and spice. Unfiltered yet clear, with a long lasting creamy head, our Sommerweizen is refreshing, yet satisfying and full of flavor. 5% ABV 2) Monk’s Indiscretion Dry hopped, and fermented with an aromatic Belgian yeast strain, Monk’s Indiscretion has an intense tropical hoppy aroma and flavor, with balanced bitterness, and is scarily drinkable for such a strong beer. 10.0% ABV
3) Dubbel Entendre. Comforting aromas of chocolate malt and dark toffee, with a hint of banana and stone fruits. A dark abbey style ale with a subtle maltiness and a dry, spicy finish. 8% ABV
Valholl Brewing Company, Poulsbo
1) Valkyrie Red. A full bodied, malty red brew with Sorachi Ace and Ahtanhum hops. 8.4% ABV
2) Dog Zebra IPA. An aggressive IPA generously hopped with Citra, Calypso and Falconer Flight hops and filtered through a hop back full of Citra Hops. It is a citrus, grapefruit slap in the face. 8% ABV
3) Poulsbo Abbey Wit. A Belgian Style Wit brewed with coriander and orange peel, cask conditioned and loaded with lemon and orange in the cask. Served from the cask. 5.2% ABV
Wingman Brewers, Tacoma
1) Pomegranate Porter. Our P-‐51 Imperial Porter infused with the delicious flavors of the pomegranate fruit. 8% ABV
2) Chili Ace IPA. Our Belgian meets PNW style IPA running through a randallizer full of RED HOT CHILIS! 7.1% ABV
3) Bavarian Hefeweizen. A traditional Bavarian Hefe. Medium on the banana and clove esters
