Here’s the announcement:

Belltown Brewing has a new Head Brewer, Will Carnaghi. Will comes to Belltown Brewing from the renowned Hale’s Ale where he was senior brewer and previously Burdick Brewing in South Park. Will has been brewing beer since age 16 where he started in his parent’s basement with a homebrew kit.

His focus lies on using quality ingredients to produce beers with balanced flavors within each beer style.

Will is constantly being inspired by other brewers in Seattle and keeps a close eye on trends and techniques in the industry. He is now creating beers at Belltown Brewing that are imaginative, purposeful, and delicious.

ABV – 5.5% IBUs – 35

A collaboration beer with Lowercase Brewing, this newly emerging style is extremely dry (hence Brut), zippy and vinous. It’s a highly carbonated, refreshing twist on an old classic bursting with herbaceous floral notes. The Brut IPA has been dry-hopped with three separate additions with German Hallertauer Blanc, Huell Melon, and El Dorado hops.

Brut IPA makes its debut on tap Thursday, August 2 and will be celebrated with a special release party at Belltown Brewing from 3:30-7 p.m. Join Belltown Brewing and Lowercase Brewing as they tap the first keg, offer samples of this new delicious beer and chat with guests about all things beer.

Summer Haze Hefeweizen
ABV – 4.0%, IBUs – 15
A classic German wheat beer, light in color and body. Pronounced banana and clove character from the yeast with slight lemon undertones combine to produce a drinkable warm weather refreshment! Highly effervescent with a dry, slightly acidic finish.

Allenbach Red Lager
ABV – 4.5%, IBUs – 25
A beautifully balanced lager beer showcasing rich malt and classic German hop character. Don’t let the color fool you, this is not a heavy beer, but rather, finishes clean and dry. Try it paired with a Belltown burger!

Gon’ Learn Today Session IPA

ABV – 4.7% IBUs – 45

This delicious summer beer has a classic Northwest IPA profile with 4.7% ABV for easy drinkability. Aromas of pine and stone fruit give way to smooth caramel malt notes and a firm clean bitterness.
