Black Raven introduces Festivus, a holiday ale for the rest of us

Black Raven Brewing just announced the pending release of its Festivus Holiday Ale. A tribute to the season, Festivus makes use of various citrus peels, a mélange of Christmas spices, cranberries, and galangal root, because nothing says “Christmas” quite like galangal root.

Black Raven releases the beer next Tuesday, November 4. The beer will be available at the brewery in 22-ounce bottles and growlers to go. The specs are below.

  1. It’s well overdue for there to be a holiday ale that commemorates the blend of celebrations and observances perfected by the Costanzas.
