Boxing and Brews – a beer release party at Machine House Brewery

Since opening in 2013, Seattle’s Machine House Brewery set itself apart from the crowd by being a little bit different, focusing its energies on producing English-style, cask-conditioned beers. So it’s not surprising that Machine House is doing something a little bit different for the release of its Summer Session ale.

On Saturday, August 1st Machine House Brewery releases its Summer Session Ale with a party at the brewery’s tasting room in Georgetown. Seattle’s Arcaro Boxing Team will be at Machine House offering up live sparring demonstrations, a chance to win private boxing lessons and fitness classes, and even some onsite boxing lessons from coach Tricia Arcaro.

“Our Summer Session is an easy-drinking English ale in the Bitter style with a touch of crystal malt,” said Thom Strub of Machine House Brewing. “It is quite refreshing and should keep you light on your feet. Come be the first to try our it and you might come away with some new moves as well.”

The Arcaro Boxing Team will use this opportunity to knock out the last of its fundraising before traveling to Missouri to represent Seattle at the 2015 Ringside World Championships.
