Brave Horse Tavern Event Benefits Wildfire Victims

I was in North Central Washington for Labor Day Weekend, in the Winthrop and Twisp area, and saw firsthand what a mighty blow that region endured this summer. It was a brutal summer, one that cost families their homes and firefighters their lives. Recognizing this, Tom Douglas Restaurants and the Brave Horse Tavern want to help wildfire victims and they’ve created a way for you to join their efforts. We’ll be there, for sure.

The Put the Fire Out with Beer night at the Brave Horse Tavern on Tuesday, September 22nd benefits Community Foundation of North Central Washington, a foundation supporting wildfire victims. The breweries involved in the event are from that region: Old Schoolhouse Brewing of Winthrop and Alpine Brewing of Oroville. Beer, pretzels, meats and cheeses, all benefiting a great cause. Also, an improv comedy troupe will perform (with your help).

Brave Horse Tavern is teaming up with breweries in Eastern Washington (Alpine Brewing and Old Schoolhouse Brewing) to help victims affected in the past season’s wild fires.
