Bremerton Summer Brewfest moving to new, cooler location

There wasn’t necessarily anything wrong with the old location, but the Bremerton Summer Brewfest’s new location is much cooler. I mean that figuratively and literally. The Bremerton Summer Brewfest has, in the past, taken place a few blocks from the ferry dock in downtown Bremerton, where city streets were closed down for the affair. Now, the event is moving to the waterfront.

This year, Bremerton Summer Brewfest takes over the Bremerton Boardwalk, which is just a few steps away from the ferry terminal and overlooks the marina and Sinclair Inlet. Where better to enjoy some tasty summer brews? Seattle-side beer lovers can easily walk aboard the ferry and make a day of it.

Summer Brewfest features more than 100 beers from more than 30 Washington breweries (list of breweries is below). The participating breweries will focus on fruit beers—either beers brewed with fruit or infused with fruit. No doubt there will be plenty of non-fruited beers there too. The event also includes live music and food. Tickets are on sale now. We will have more details about the event as it nears.
