Opportunities like this don’t come along every day and that’s why I’m posting about it here. I was recently contacted by a commercial real estate firm about a property in Lake Stevens, WA. The property is a 6,700+ SF brewery and restaurant, with substantial brewing equipment already installed. It is described as, “a brand new building with brewing equipment available for the tenant’s use.”
The location is in the heart of the rapidly growing town of Lake Stevens, on Vernon Road, with visibility from Hwy 204. The address is 8928 Vernon Road. The building is essentially complete, with the brewery installed but not yet used. The kitchen is currently equipped with a Type 1 hood and a walk-in freezer.
The brewing equipment includes a 7-barrel brewhouse and three 7-barrel fermenters. The brewery occupies approximately 1,100 square feet. Not quite a turnkey brewery, but closer than most commercial real estate opportunities.
I think it goes without saying that this property was purpose-built, probably specifically for a particular tenant, or at least with a brewery tenant in mind. For whatever reasons, the property now sits ready for a brewery and restaurant to move in and finish things up.
