Brouwer’s announces beer lineup for next week’s Big Wood festival

Big Wood approaches at Brouwer’s Cafe in Seattle, looming on the horizon like a big wood thing full of beer. Brouwer’s annual celebration of all things barrel-aged starts on Thursday, December 4th and runs through the weekend. Expect a line when doors open on Thursday and, likely, at prime times during the weekend; this is one of Seattle’s most popular beer events. The list of beers (below), is impressive. Note that this is just a partial list. More will be added by showtime.

In addition to what they’re telling us about, Brouwer’s has some extra-special beers on deck. “This year we are also doing three special tappings,” says Nat Pellman, General Manager at Brouwer’s Cafe. “The first one will be at 1:00 PM, the last one will be at 7:00 PM. We are still deciding on when the other will be tapped. These beers will not be listed anywhere, but I will tell you they are going to be great selections. I’ll leave it at that.”

Brouwer’s opens at 11:00 daily. Big Wood starts on Thursday, December 4th.
