Cider Summit Seattle, September 5th and 6th

This year’s Cider Summit Seattle is just a few weeks away. The event takes place at South Lake Union Discovery Center (corner of Denny Way and Westlake Avenue) on Friday, September 5 and Saturday, September 6. This year the event welcomes 43 ciders producers pouring more than 150 ciders.

The 21+ event features food along with the cider, as well as live music, a dog lounge, and an event store selling bottles, growlers fills, event swag and more. Proceeds benefit  Institute for Myeloma & Bone Cancer Research, Northwest Cider Association, and Seattle Humane.Here are complete event details

What:
5th annual festival. 159 ciders expected from 43 producers. Ciders from 7 states and 7 countries. 65 from WA. Over 60 ciders never previously poured at event.

When:
Friday, 9/5 from 3p‐8p (VIP ticket session starts at 2p)
Saturday, 9/6 from 12n‐6p

$25 if purchased in advance online or at sponsors & local bottleshops. Admission includes a  souvenir tasting glass and 8 tasting tickets. Additional tasting tickets available onsite for $2 each.

VIP ticket is $35, available online only. Includes glass and 12 tasting tickets along with 2pm admission on Friday. Limited quantity available.

Specially paired foods available for purchase from Whole Foods and Capitol Cider. Additional food vendors include Grizzly Donuts  and Smitten Truffles.

Music:
Live music on both Friday & Saturday produced in conjunction with the Cascade Blues Association. Includes noted local musicians Ellen Whyte, Lloyd Jones, and Norman Sylvester and dedication of the Jim Miller Festival Stage.
