Craft Brewers Conference starts tomorrow – ONLINE!

This year’s Craft Brewers Conference in San Antonio was canceled just like everything else this spring, but the organizers have adapted and are taking the show online. As professional brewers and other beer industry folks know, it’s a massive program offering a lot of valuable, industry-focused seminars about things like brewery operations, sales and distribution, marketing and social media, safety, ingredients and supplies, and more.

All of it online this year. And all of it free starting on Monday, April 13th

What is usually crammed into a few days will now take place over the course of five weeks, starting on April 13th and running through May 15th, with live morning and afternoon sessions. In all, 40 seminars, with two live streams per day. All seminars are free, and recordings will be available through May 31.

Check out the schedule here.

It won’t be like a normal Craft Brewers Conference. There won’t be a convention floor packed full of vendors hawking their wares. There won’t be opening and closing ceremonies, or keynote speakers. There won’t be huge parties, there won’t be the same kind of comradery and networking, but the educational portion of the event remains. And that’s what you really go to the CBC for, right?

Usually, industry pros spend a lot of money to attend the CBC. The conference itself requires a registration fee, but there are also a lot of travel expenses involved as well. This year you can stay in your sweat pants and experience the CBC, for free, from the now very familiar comfort of your own home.
