Diamond Knot announces opening date & job opportunities for Mountlake Terrace brewpub

About six months ago, we reported that Diamond Knot Brewing planned to open a new brewpub in Mountlake Terrace (read our initial report). Today we have news of a pending opening. According to MLT News, a website providing community news for Mountlake Terrace, the new location will open on February 8 (read that story here). In preparation, Diamond Knot is looking to fill 50 positions, including restaurant and bar staff as well as brewery staff.

Diamond Knot Brewing will conduct two job fairs to help fill the 50 position. Both of these job fairs will take place at the Diamond Knot production brewery on Chenault Beach Road in Mukilteo (map). Tomorrow, November 26, the company invites job seekers interested in kitchen and back-of-house operations. The second job fair takes place on December 10 and focuses on servers, bussers, bartenders, and hosts/hostesses. Hours for both of the job fairs are 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Applications can be found here.

The new 8,900 square foot Diamond Knot brewery and restaurant is located in the shopping center at the intersection of 56th Avenue W and 232nd Street SW in Mountlake Terrace (view map), next to the legendary Double DD Meats. The new brewpub will include restaurant seating for 250, as well as full brewery operations capable of producing 1,500 barrels annually. The restaurant space will also include a 60-seat event space, wired to support various types of events.
