Dogs and beers – Ghostfish Brewing hosting pop-up doggy dinners

This is the second dog-related story I’ve posted lately, but don’t get confused. This is still a beer blog. Ghostfish Brewing Company is hosting a pop-up doggy dine-in cafe next week (Monday – Wednesday). What’s that, you ask? If nothing else, it’s a chance for you to get a free, very nutritious and delicious meal for your pooch.

K9 Natural is a producer of all natural, high quality pet food. The company is based in New Zealand and is currently running a Bone Appétit campaign to introduce itself to the local market. At the pop-up doggy cafe, you can enjoy a beer (and perhaps some grub) at Ghostfish Brewing while your dog enjoys a complimentary meal from the doggy menu (below). You can also take home a doggy bag filled with K9 Natural products.

It just so happens that I know someone who is now working for K9 Natural, so I’ve actually gotten samples of the food. Lucy, the Washington Beer Dog, approves of their products. In fact, she goes kind of bonkers for the stuff. This is not a paid endorsement, I just honestly think the products are great and that these pop-up doggy dinners are cool.

K9 Natural’s products are first rate, all natural, nutritious and super healthy, but this is a beer blog. If you want to know more about the products, check out their website. Their stuff is available at better pet stores around town.

Ghostfish Brewery will be offering Bone Appétit Monday, June 26 thru Wednesday, June 28 from  3:00 til 9:00.

Featured menu items include:

  • Beef Feast: grass-fed beef with eggs, kelp, flaxseed, fruit, vegetables and New Zealand green-lipped mussels
  • Lamb Feast: grass-fed lamb with eggs, kelp, flaxseed, fruit, vegetables and New Zealand green-lipped mussels
