Elliott Bay Brewery – Harvest Festival Event this Sunday

Elliott Bay Brewery and Pub in West Seattle wonders, “Ich Bin Ein Berliner Weisse! Are You?” I’m not sure what that means in German, but in West Seattle it means “Come drink some beer.”

Every year for Halloween, the West Seattle Junction (aka downtown West Seattle) is invaded by hordes of costumed kids moving from one business to the next in search of treats. The trick-or-treating is just part of the West Seattle Harvest Festival. It is  quite a spectacle to behold. Elliott Bay Brewery and Pub wants to offer a little something for the grownups too. This Sunday’s Harvest Festival offers an opportunity to sample Elliott Bay Brewery’s Berliner Weisse served with an assortment of locally grown and produces syrups.

Here’s the word from the brewery:

“Step away from the crowd and into the brewery for a special tasting event with Brewer Dan and Chef Kerry! From 12 to 2 p.m. on Sunday October 27th, we will be offering a trio of our 5 oz. Berliner Weisse tasters served with your choice of syrups locally grown and processed. Don’t miss your chance to taste, explore and ask lots of questions! We will have additional specials available and an ample candy station out front to appease the little ones. Join us for the Harvest Festival!”
