This Seattle brewery is stretching out its anniversary celebration just to be safe
Not surprising in 2020, but the anniversary celebration at Figurehead Brewing is going to look a little different this year. To keep people safe and to maintain social distancing, the brewery is spreading the celebration across five days instead of hosting a large, single-day party. This year the party stretches from September 2nd through September 6th, with each day marked by a special beer release.
“Each day will include the tapping of new beers, some limited vintage beers from past anniversaries, different one-off casks, and various bottle releases as well,” said Bob Monroe, the Owner/Head Brewer at Figurehead Brewing. “It culminates with the release of 4th Leg, the official 4th anniversary brew, on Sept. 5th. This year’s anniversary beer is an oak-aged Russian Imperial Stout fermented with Norwegian kveik yeast, along with a second variant with cacao nibs, vanilla beans, and aji panca chiles added. Both beers will be on draft and available in 22oz bottles.”
Figurehead Brewing will also hold a raffle throughout the entire anniversary celebration, with three participants winning $50 gift cards. One ticket per person per day, so if you attend the celebration on all five days you’ll have five tickets and maximize your chances to win.
There will also be a raffle running throughout the entire anniversary celebration with three winners receiving $50 gift cards to Figurehead. One ticket per person per day, meaning if you attend all five days of the celebration you will receive five tickets to maximize your chances of winning.
