The folks at Kulshan Brewing in Bellingham have been busy. They recently announced the release of five beers. Here’s the scoop straight from the brewery. From Brut IPA to Barleywine to Barrel-Aged Gose.
Nor’Easter Barleywine
Oak barrel aging, measured patience, meticulous blending and years of anticipation culminate to bring you this very special English-Style Barleywine. Bold, complex, flavors and aromas warm the senses. Layers of toffee, roast, sweet malt and generous hop presence provide the perfect balance to alcohol warmth. Available in bottles at both locations.
Pomegranate Apero Brut IPA
Light pink in color with a magnificent white head, this beer is refreshing and truly unique. Enticing aromas of pomegranate and grapefruit, along with milder notes of chamomile and coriander, create a perfumy bouquet that cannot be ignored. On the tongue, Pomegranate Apero is silky and smooth, with mild fruity sweetness and a clean, dry finish. On tap at Sunnyland as part of our Small Batch Program.

Jungleland Hazy IPA
Juicy and smooth, this beer is hazy in appearance, but bright in aroma and flavor. Bursting with notes of tangerine, watermelon, strawberry, and ripe tropical fruit, this beer is low in bitterness and high in hop flavor and aroma. Balanced and enticing, Jungleland is not the sort of IPA that Kulshan typically brews, but one that we are proud to offer you nonetheless. On tap at Roosevelt (K2).
Barrel-Aged Gose
With rum barrels from Sun Liquor distillery, we aged our house Gose for six months resulting in a uniquely aromatic, crisp and refreshing beer. Aromas of rum, vanilla and white wine complement the tastes of fresh citrus, orchard fruits and white grapes. Distinct and perfectly blended, we hope you find this beer as delicious and enjoyable as we do. Available in bottles at both locations.

Barrel-Aged Belgian Golden Strong
Aged in gin barrels from Big Gin and Oola Distillery, this version of our award-winning ale is complex, well balanced and lively. Aroma notes of juniper, vanilla, and ripe berries kick off the sensory experience, followed by flavor notes of apple, pear, light caramel, and slight warming alcohol. Patiently aged and blended, this beer can serve well as an aperitif, a dessert beer, or as a companion while reading next to a roaring fire. Available in bottles at both locations.
