Flatstick Pub announces plans to open in Spokane

Last week we reported that Flatstick Pub planned to open a new pub in Tacoma later this year. Today we share the news that Flatstick Pub is also opening in Spokane. The company currently operates two pubs in Seattle and one in Kirkland. For Andy and Sam Largent, the owners, the Spokane opening represents a homecoming; the brothers both graduated from Spokane-area high schools.

Flatstick Pub announced today that its Spokane location will open in the summer or fall 2019 on the ground level of River Park Square’s newly renovated “M” Building (612 W. Main). Like the other locations, the new pub will focus on locally brewed beers and golf-themed games.

“We have been looking to open a Spokane Flatstick for a few years and couldn’t be happier with this space right in the heart of downtown,” said Sam Largent, owner and CEO of Flatstick Pub. “We’re so excited to bring the Flatstick experience to our hometown where we still have lots of friends and family. Our goal with every pub is to create a space where people can be themselves, have fun, and try something new.”

Along with familiar Flatstick Pub games like mini golf, stick put, cup hunter, and Duffleboard™, the Spokane pub will see the debut of a new game. Like the other locations, the beer program will focus on locally brewed beers, with 30 beers on tap. Also like other Flatstick Pub locations, the food program is being designed in conjunction with Ethan Stowell Restaurants.  The pub will be open to minors before 7:00 PM, grownups-only thereafter, and will also be dog-friendly.

“We strive to provide our River Park Square customers with exceptional experiences, and are thrilled at the addition of Flatstick Pub,” said Bryn West, Vice President of Centennial Property Management Company. “Flatstick celebrates our local Spokane identity and strives to bring our community together through local libations, food, and unique indoor games. We know it will be a great addition to Spokane’s booming downtown.”

Supporting and giving back to the community in which they operate is a core value of Flatstick Pub. In 2018, Flatstick Pub donated more than $140,000 directly to local charities and non-profit organizations and will continue to give back in all locations in which it operates.
