Foggy Noggin Brewing announces 10th Anniversary events

CANCELED/POSTPONED – PLANS ARE NOW ON HOLD BECAUSE OF THE COVID-19 LOCKDOWN.

PLANS ARE NOW ON HOLD. FOR LATEST UPDATES, https://www.facebook.com/airwaysbrewing/

It was a novel concept when it first opened. Ten years later, it still is. For lack of a  better thing to call it, Foggy Noggin Brewing is a residential brewery, built around a family home in Bothell. Several years ago, in an article for Seattle magazine, I described Foggy Noggin like this: “Give a man some beer and he’ll drink for a day, but give a man a homebrew kit and he’ll build a brewery in the back yard and turn the garage into a taproom.” Something like that.

A shed in the back yard is where Jim Jamison set up his modest-sized brewery and focused on creating traditional English-style ales, serving them to his neighbors and other beer lovers who flocked to the garage-turned-taproom on weekends (Saturday’s, most regularly). Ten years later, with a lot of help from Jim’s wife and family, Foggy Noggin Brewing has churned out almost 2,000 batches of beer (1,930 batches thus far).
