Four new Washington breweries?

To say that these are new breweries is a bit premature, however the state has issued four liquor licenses so far this month. If any of the people involved with any of these ventures would like to talk to us, you can contact us directly.
192 Brewing Company – Kenmore, WA
Valholl Brewing Company – 18928 Front Street #100, Poulsbo, WA
Snoho Brewing – Snohomish, WA
Vital Brewing – Everett, WA
The one in Poulsbo sound particularly intriguing. The addresses associated with the other three appeared to be residential so we opted not to publish them.
Does anyone know anything about these new brewing ventures?

  1. In regard to Valholl brewing you can follow us on twitter we are trying to keep it as up to date as possible. Currently we are finalizing paperwork with the ATF and the city of Poulsbo. Our brewing equipment is on order and we are not expecting any delays. The head brewer is Jeff Holcomb formerly of Heads Up Brewing. Again our twitter account Valholl brew is your best bet for up to date information.

  3. I see that Jordan has just posted, as he stated I am the head brewer for Valholl. Jordan is my assistant as is Mike Scully(for any that followed Heads Up Brewing his name is known), also Aaron is going to head our sales and marketing for us and try his hand at brewing. We are starting small, nano 1/2 bbl, but we are running enough ferm. so to keep the beer flowing. We plan to expand as quickly as we can in 2010 or early 2011 to at least a 5 to 7 bbl system still in the Poulsbo area. We will be the first brewery in the city of Poulsbo, which is turning into quite the beer haven. The Hare and Hound just opened down the street offering 5 cask engines and lots of taps. We will offer 4 ales to start including a 9% Belgian Strong Ale with seasonals throughout the year. Look for the 9MM, Firkin Hammer and Damn Red Scotch Ale. We are hoping and pushing for a first of March grand opening.
