Today we welcome a new sponsor: Fremont Oktoberfest. Each year thousands of people flock to the center of the Universe (Fremont) to celebrate the harvest season with beer and autumnal revelry. The event runs from Friday, September 21 through Sunday, September 23. Fremont Oktoberfest is held in the streets of Fremont between Phinney Ave N and 1st Ave NW and N 35th St and N Canal St, with the entrance located at the intersection of Phinney Ave N and N 35th Street (map). The entrance is conveniently located across the street from Brouwer’s Cafe.

Fremont Oktoberfest is an all-ages affair, but the Oktoberfest Tasting Garden (beer garden) is reserved for grownups only (21+). Forty breweries pour beer at the event, some of them are local Seattle breweries and some are not-so-local breweries like Paulaner, Warsteiner, Hoffbrau, and others. Click here to see the complete brewery/beer lineup. Within the Oktoberfest Tasting Garden you’ll find the Buxom Beer Garden, where you can put down your tasting glass and pick up a full pint or a liter mug.
