Laughing Dog Meet the Brewer night – at the Hopvine Join Fred Colby owner and brewer of Laughing Dog at the Hopvine Pub in Capitol Hill.  Fred will be on hand to talk about his fantastic beers from Idaho and maybe even give away a few things.  There will be lots of different Laughing Dog beers on tap to enjoy.  See you there! 7pm

Lost Coast Brewer Night – Meet brewer Fred Dog for a night of special brews at Brouwer’s Cafe

Tour de Pints Bike Ride. Meets at 11 am at Pike Brewery downtown…rolls out around 11:45.  We hope to have Charles and Rosanne along for the ride. From Pike we will head to Dexter and Hayes, then to Brouwer’s Cafe.  In this ride at times there will be options for those who want it to give themselves a challenge, leaving Brouwer’s is the first time for those that want to take on the feats of strength to do so.  The options are the Park Pub or the Dray….we will all meet again at Naked City….then those that want to take on another feat of strength can do so and head to the Fiddler, those that don’t will head to the Duck Island…we will all meet again at the Big Time, then those that want to take on the feat of strenght will head to Smiths, those that don’t will head to Feierabend and we will all end the ride at Elysian Fields, and the 40 beers of Elysian event….you can follow the ride on twitter….tourdepints if you so desire….

Elliot Bay Barrel-aged beer sampling and tapas-style food pairing.
The cost is $40.00 per person and will include five samples of beer we’ve aged in various barrels, including bourbon, brandy, syrah, and a couple of sour versions out of brettanomyces-innoculated french wine barrels.
The event will take place at Elliot Bay Burien 6:00 PM(Sold Out, Thank You). Second Session Added! 4pm – 5:30pm

  1. I just got back from GEBF: Lots of good brews there. My favorite was Trip I (the Trippel IPA) With a close second being the Pandemonium and Barrel O’ Bitch was darned good too. Definitely a good time. Knot Owl was gone when I tried to get it.

  2. Alex – we liked Trip I, but enjoyed Trip II even more. Laura Stoudt recommended the Woodruff Maibock and that was a surprising favorite too.

    What an amazing beerfest, I thought it was similar to winter beer fest, where every brewer brings unusual, wonderful beers – only it was all one brewery, all at one time. Dick Cantwell is truly gifted and we are lucky to have him here in Seattle. – Mrs. Beerblog
