Happening Today – Seattle Beer Week Events (Thrsd, May 14th)

Sour Beer Fest at Brouwer’s Cafe. Over 30 sour beers being poured from the tap. Most of which will either be one-off creations or rare brews. The kick off is Thursday night with many of the brewers in attendance such as Adam Avery (of Avery Brewing), Vinnie Cilurzo of Russian River Brewing, Rob Todd of Allagash, and Ron Gainsburg of Cascade. The night will also be the Seattle premiere of Victory Brewing’s Wild-Devil!

Merchany d’Vin presents Beers of Europe dinner hosted by Jhon Gilroy at the Taphouse Seattle.
Breweries featured: Orval, Ayinger, Samuel Smith’s, Traquir, Zatec, Lindemans. 7pm.

Herbert’s Legendary Ale – all day at Beveridge Place Pub
For the 10th anniversary of Herberts, 10 different versions were made at 10 different breweries and we’re getting the band back together!

Lazy Boy Meet the Brewer night 7pm.  Stop by the Fiddlers Inn for a pint of delicious Lazy Boy beer and meet the Owner / Brewer Shawn Loring.

Georgetown Brewings Bob’s Release – 6PM till whenever we blow 5 kegs. ALL proceeds go to Ronald McDonald House charities of Western Washington. at the Nickerson Street Saloon.

New Brewery Night at The Park Pub 6pm. Compare the newest brews and meet the newest brewers in town. Joel at Two Beers, Marcus at Schooner Exact, Alejandro from Big Al’s, and Josh from Chuckanut all will be present with 2-4 beers on tap each. There will be give-aways and shwagg available for purchase.”

1st Course- Duck Rillettes & Traditional accoutrements matched with New Belgium Trip II Citra hop belgian-style pale.
2nd Course- Seared Sea Scallops, ginger carrot cashew butter, lemon oil matched with Elysian Saison Poivre peppercorn saison.
3rd Course- Salad of bitter greens, lardons, Persille de Malzieu, warm bacon vinaigrette matched with New Belgium La Folie.
4th Course- Braised American Wagyu beef, root vegetable gratin, pickled onion matched with New Belgium Trip I Trippel/IPA
5th Course – Assorted truffles with coffee crème anglaise matched with Elysian Belgian Stout.

Skookum Brewers Night at Balefire

Victory Brewing Night at the Parkway Tavern in Tacoma.  Not all great beer places are just in Seattle!  Stop in at the Parkway in Tacoma for the  ONLY beer week event in Tacoma.  Steve German from Victory brewing will be showcasing his fine beers you all love – as well as some super rare and exclusive beers you have never had, but are sure to love!

Big Al Brewers Night at DC’s Bar & Grill in Renton 6pm – 9pm

Bayern Brewing Night at Lindas tavern Capitol hill will be featuring Bayern master brewer Thorsten Geuer tapping a full I/2 barrel cask of Bayern maibock on the patio from 6-9 pm
