Happening Tonight: Thursday, April 29th

It looks like this is going to be a beautiful April evening. What better excuse to get out for a beer. Here are some ideas:

IPApril at the Beveridge Place Pub and the annual IPA Festival at Cooper’s Alehouse are both winding down. Expect to find a great selection of IPAs at both places. Tomorrow (4/30) is the last day for both ongoing events.

Also at the Beveridge Place tonight – a brewers night celebration with Elysian Brewing. Consider it a festival within the festival. They’ll have a nice assortment of Elysian beers and they’ll be giving away swag. Things get hopping at 7:00 p.m.

Up in Everett, Balefire Bar will be location for the introduction of Headknocker Brewing’s Balefire Beta. Headknocker is one of the newest breweries in the state. This is your opportunity to be one of the first people to drink their beer. 6:00 p.m.

In Seattle’s Greenwood neighborhood, Thursdays always mean cask beer at the Naked City Taphouse. A different beer each week, but it is always something good being poured the old fashioned way. Things get started as soon as they tap that cask, uually around 5:00 or 6:00, and last until the beer is gone.
