Happening tonight and this weekend – Pumpkin Death and Turkey Bowl

snipesRedmond, Tonight – Chris Miller, head brewer at Snipes Mountain Brewing, will be at the Malt and Vine tonight (Fri. Nov. 20th) to serve up samples of his award winning ales. Among other treats, they’ll be tapping into a keg of Pumpkin Death Imperial Stout and a firkin of IPA.
Oak Harbor, Tonight and Tomorrow– The birthday celebration continues at Flyers Restaurant and Brewery.  Live music is on the schedule. Tomorrow they’ll have a very special Deschutes tasting that will include an Abyss vertical tasting (’06, ’07, ’08) among other treats.
Seattle, TomorrowBeer Church Turkey Bowl – bowling party, food drive and fundraiser to support West Seattle Food Bank. Location: West Seattle Bowl. This is the 11th consecutive year that Beer Church has put together a charity fundraiser to celebrate Thanksgiving. Local breweries and pubs will compete for coveted trophies. The event is sold out, but that just means you cannot bowl. You can still come donate food, support the cause, have a beer, and win some prizes. Read our story about Turkey Bowl.
Tacoma, Tomorrow – Stout tasting party at Harmon Brewing. Space is filling up fast. call for reservations today 383-2739. Taste a selection of five NW Stouts along wtih five fun Fall appetizers and dessert. College football, stout tasting and great food. 4:00 p.m.
Spokane, TomorrowSpokane Cork and Keg Festival. Sample more than 30 handcrafted beers and 100 wines from the northwest and beyond. Hors d’oeuvres will be offered by chef Curtis Smith and the Northwest Culinary Academy at Spokane Community College. The event takes place at the Mirabeau Hotel, 7:00 -10:00.
