Happy Birthday to Über

This Friday, June 26th, Über Tavern will be 3 years old! Here’s what they’ve got in store for the 3 day celebration, which starts on Thursday. Not surprisingly, it includes a lot of great beer.

DAY 1: THURSDAY JUNE 25TH – TAPPED WHEN WE OPEN AT 4PM.

1-year-old keg of the monstrous 21% Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA, served in 8oz goblets for $5. With 12oz bottles regularly selling for $15, this is an awesome deal.

DAY 2: FRIDAY JUNE 26TH – tapping at 7pm (come early & get a seat)

Even more rare, and the first time such a cask has been in Washington, we’ll tap round 2 of JW Lee’s Vintage Harvest Ale, only this one has been aged in (and will be served directly out of) a Willoughby’s Reserve Port 80 year old wooden cask.

Both Lee’s kegs will be served in 4oz/$5 goblets. This is a tremendous deal on a beer that normally costs over $15 for a 9oz bottle..and in this case they are being served out of the “source” wooden kegs!

The masterpiece base beer is an 11.5% English Style Barleywine. Butterscotch-sweet and almost desert wine-like, the super-enriched scotch & port barrel-aged treatments create dramatic changes in their flavor & color profiles. There is nothing like them. These beers will blow you away.

…and just to make sure we are excessive…
