Harmon Brewing announces plans to open a third HUB

According to a report from businessexaminer.com, Harmon Brewing Company plans to open a third HUB restaurant later this year. The location for the new Harmon HUB is Puyallup’s South Hill, near the South Hill Mall. The company says that they hope to have the new spot open by October.

Harmon Brewing’s founder and owner, Pat Nagel, told the Business Examiner, “There has to be the right location and the right marketplace and the right building. This kind of fit all those parameters.”

This will be the company’s third bicycle-themed restaurant. One is in downtown Tacoma, not far from the main brewery and restaurant, and another is in Gig Harbor at the airport.

Away from the restaurant news, Nagle also said that the company is looking to expand production

“I would say within a few years, if not sooner, we’ll be in a position to take the next step and increase production. I think the craft beer market will continue to grow but generally not at this pace, and I think the market will change at some point. (We want to) keep our brand and our foot in the door with wholesale, since we’re not able to produce more right now. We’re going to wait until we’re in a position where we’re able to build a production facility.”
