Tomorrow, Saturday, December 3rd, Reuben’s Brews releases its Breakfast Stout in bottles along with a bourbon-barrel version of the same. Also, their Advent Calendar of Beer is back. Here’s the news about both:
Classic and Bourbon Barrel Breakfast Stout Release, Saturday, Dec. 3 at Noon
Join us in the taproom as we release our classic Breakfast Stout and Bourbon Barrel Breakfast Stout in 22-oz bottles for the first time!
During our blending session, two barrels really stood out – one was lucky barrel number 7, which was also the number of the standout barrel with our 2015 BBIS. We took the beer from these barrels aside and bottled them separately, so you can enjoy what we felt was the best of the batch. We bottled a small amount of Barrel 7, and it will be available during the release with 2 bottles per person limit.

The classic Breakfast Stout is a imperial milk stout with oats and Kuma Coffee. It will remind you of a chocolate covered espresso bean – rich, creamy chocolate in the nose, a full silky body, nutty coffee in the finish. The bourbon barrel version has added notes of raisins, plums, bourbon and a rich alcohol warming wrapped up with a dry finish from the oak. We cupped coffees with Kuma Coffee to select the best coffee for the beer. We’ll have 12oz bags of the roast we used for sale in the taproom, and Kuma will be with us from around noon to 3pm to serve samples of the coffee.
The wax-dipped bottles of BBBS will be available for for $16 each (plus tax). Bottles of the classic Breakfast Stout are $7 each.

The Advent Calendar of Beers is Back!
Stop by the taproom to pick up your advent calendar punch card, enjoy some tasty beers and earn great Reuben’s prizes!
Each morning between Dec. 1 and Dec. 24, we’ll announce the day’s beer on Facebook and Instagram. When you come in and purchase a pint of that beer, you’ll get it punched on your card.
You can earn prizes as you go:
First six punches – Reuben’s Brews vinyl sticker
12 punches – Reuben’s Brews goblet glass
18 punches – Reuben’s Brews t-shirt or hat
24 punches – Entry into the drawing for the grand prize!
We understand it’s hard to come in every day, so you can “make up” for days you miss. Just order a beer from one of the previous days and you’ll get your punch. For example, if you miss Day 4, come in any day after, drink the Day 4 beer and you’ll get your Day 4 punch.
As always, there are a few rules:
You’ll have until Dec. 31 to get as many punches as you can.
Only full-size pours or growler fills are eligible for punches. Sorry, no punches for tasters.
Advent calendar cards can only be used by one person and are non-transferable.
You only get the credit for beers you drink. Remember, Santa is watching and he’ll know if you try to get punches for someone else’s beer!
