Holy wheat beer, Batman! My mouth is watering

A new beer being released tonight at the Dog and Pony

Bart Traubeck lives in the Seattle area and owns a brewery in Oroville, but he still calls Munich his hometown. No doubt, he is a man that knows a thing or two about making German-style beer. His company, Alpine Brewing, which we visited last summer (read post here), makes some of the tastiest lagers this side of Stuttgart. Pretty much the only thing I don’t like about Alpine Brewing is that I don’t see enough of their beer around town. Oh well, my loss.

Word today from Jay Fischer at the Dog and Pony Alehouse that Bart is releasing a Hefeweizen.

This is a little late notice and wasn’t on our calendar until recently but this is a very special event. We have been chosen, no, blessed to be the anointed ones for the special North American, no, world wide rollout for Alpine Brewing company’s Hefeweizen. Come enjoy the wonderful beer and meet the brewer Bart. Normally you would have to go all the way to Renton to meet Bart but Wednesday you can meet him right here in North Renton. We will have some giveaways and another beer or two of Barts. Hope to see all of you there.
