Hop Aboard a Brew Cruise with Boundary Bay Brewery & Others

San Juan Cruises, out of Bellingham, has teamed up with Boundary Bay Brewing to offer a series of Thursday night beer cruises on Bellingham Bay. Each Thursday in August you can hop aboard the Victoria Star for an evening of beer tasting on the bay featuring beers from Boundary Bay and other local breweries. The first event happened last Thursday and featured beers from Boundary Bay Brewery, Chuckanut Brewery and Kulshan Brewery. No kiddies – these cruises are for grownups only (21+).

Upcoming cruises feature beers and representatives from Scuttlebutt Brewing, Big Time Brewery, Diamond Knot Brewing, Schooner Exact Brewing, Port Townsend Brewing and Skagit Brewing. See details about upcoming cruises below.

We just heard from Ed Bennett of Boundary Bay Brewery and he says that the first cruise was a blast. “Our first Brew Cruise sold out and was a huge success.  Some people had such a great time that they signed up for the next Brew Cruise! Our next Brew Cruise will feature Boundary Bay Brewery, Big Time Brewery (Drew and Debbie) and Scuttlebutt Brewery (Phil and Scuttle).”

Each week Boundary Bay Brewery will serve a variety of their award-winning beers, along with two other Northwest breweries serving up their best brews. Snacks that complement the beers are available during the cruise.
