Hop Sails IPA Sailing Off Into the Sunset at The Beer Junction

Tonight at The Beer Junction (blog sponsor), they’re having an “old school” beer tasting, pulling out some of their current favorites, new releases and other goodies for your enjoyment. In addition to all that, they’ll tap into the very last keg of the Beer Junction 3rd Anniversary beer – Hop Sails Double IPA by Schooner Exact Brewing. If you are a hop head and you haven’t yet, you need to try this beer. It is a hop lovers dream. One of the beers that proves our Washington brewers can create IPAs that stand shoulder-to-shoulder with those infamous, ballyhooed California beers.

“We’ll  be tapping the very last keg of our 3rd Anniversary Hop Sails Double IPA brewed by Schooner Exact as well as running Hop Sails through the randall with pineapple, grapefruit, and apricots,” The Beer Junction said via this morning’s email. “In addition we’ll be trying the recently released Crème Brulee Imperial Stout by Southern Tier, McEwan’s Scotch Ale (just released to the U.S. market for the first time in several years), as well as GoodLife Brewing’s Sweet As Pacific Pale Ale (one of our favorite beers this summer). Try all five of these tonight from 5-8PM for just $4!”

What a great way to celebrate IPA Day, with a truly outstanding Washington-brewed IPA as well as some other beery treats.
