The Inaugural B-Town Brewfest – This Saturday in Burien

The inaugural B-Town Brewfest takes place this Saturday, October 13 at the Burien Community Center. Get your tickets in advance online and you’ll save a few bucks. The event will feature beer from 12 craft brewers. This list of breweries and other event details are below. Proceeds from the B-Town Brewfest benefit the Seatac Guild of Seattle Children’s Hospital. Purchasing advance tickets online will save you $5.

“I could not be more pleased with the list of participating brewers. They all bring unique beers to the table and an enormous passion for brewing,” said event organizer, John Fosberg. “The Brewfest will offer event goers a memorable and diverse group of craft beers to choose from. We are very pleased about having Burien’s own Elliott Bay Brewing at the Brewfest — great to have local representation. Plus, we have a couple of Oregon state brewers participating, and even a new-cooperative brewery, Flying Bike Brewery from Pacific, WA. You gotta come and check out everything these brewers have to offer. It’s going to be a great and fun day.”

Fosberg continued, “The brewer list filled up fast — many of the brewers mentioned having a loyal customer base in the area. Once brewer names starting showing up on the event’s website and Facebook page, advance tickets started selling at a brisk pace. I would encourage everyone to purchase their tickets before hand — I would hate to turn anyone away at the gate.”
