Inauguration Day Parties

ORIGINALLY POSTED JAN. 19, 2009.

Lots of people will be celebrating tomorrow. Here are just a few of the parties we’ve heard about. Get out there and celebrate the Inauguration!

The Attic, Seattle’s Madison Park neighborhood – Join the Attic and Rogue for a night of celebration, trivia and Rogue giveaways. They’ll be serving up Rogue American Ale to mark the occasion. 7:00 PM.

Boundary Bay Brewery, Bellingham – The doors open at 11:00 AM. All the day’s events will be up on the TVs.  At 8:00, live jazz. Bring donations for the local food bank. Boundary Bay Brewery has been chosen to be part of the live broadcast on ABC that starts at 5 pm (PST).  Through interactive technology and a live broadcast on ABC, the “Neighborhood Ball” will be linked with Boundary Bay Brewery and other parties across the country, making for a truly special night that all Americans can take part in.

  1. Can’t wait for the Ale to the Chief. I was in Colorado in November and tasted it in the Avery tasting room (batch #2). It was amazing! I’ve since had a couple bottles of it. It’s great out of the bottle but, was so much better straight out of the tap.

Also, I went to the Naked City website and they say they’re opening at 8:30, not 7:50.

  2. We won’t have the Presidential Inauguration on as there’s no television at 99 Bottles, but we’ll be serving beer & cake to celebrate the store’s second year.

$2.50 for 5 beer samples, a piece of rich chocolate cake with cream cheese filling & entry to win a basket of beer gear. Club $1.

Pop in between 4 & 8 p.m. and have some cake & beer before you head elsewhere to watch the Inauguration!
