IPA Fest kicks off at Cooper’s Alehouse this Friday

For many of today’s craft beer drinkers, the story of the $3 pint is the stuff of legend. Lo, there really was a time when you could score a pint of good beer for such a paltry sum. In fact, today at Cooper’s Alehouse in Seattle, it is time to clear the decks in preparation for the 13th Annual IPA Fest. That means a lot of the beer that is on tap has gotta go. That means $3 pints.

And then on Friday, April 3rd IPAs take over the taps. Here is the official announcement about IPA Fest from Cooper’s:

13th Annual IPA Fest!

We’re just a couple days away from our annual love letter to the glory of hops. Starting April 3rd we’re pouring 60+ IPA’s in three weeks: doubles, triples, sessions (new this year!), and just good ol’ regular IPA’s. We’ll be pouring them all. Blind tastings, sampler trays, and IPA specific food specials too. got hops?

And make sure you join us on Wednesday the 1st for “Clear the Decks”. We’re pouring a handful of $3 pints all night long as we make room for the IPA’s. Come on in and cleanse your palate (for cheap!) before the onslaught of hops.
