This Saturday, January 9th, there will be a celebration of life in honor of Jay Fairchild. As we reported back in November, Jay was a longtime friend of the local beer industry and recently lost a long and brave battle with cancer. Jay worked as manager at the Parkway Tavern in Tacoma. He also worked at Snoqualmie Falls Brewing and Aviator Ales.
Those wanting to share in the memory of our good friend Jay are invited to a celebration of his life this Saturday, 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Tacoma Outboard Association. It’s a potluck and a wake, so bring food and an ability to drink.
