Kirkland’s Flycaster Brewing has been sold. New owners, name coming soon

Jeremy and Tara Eubanks (pictured above on opening day) opened Flycaster Brewing six years ago in Kirkland. The couple recently announced that they’ve sold the brewery, backing away from the biz to spend more time focusing on their family. We wish them well and thank them for their contribution to our beer community.

The last day for Flycaster Brewing will be September 30th, but the brewery is not going away. Though we’ve yet to meet the new owners, we hear that they’ll change the name of the brewery to Brewing Savage Co. When we learn more, we will share what we know.

Here is the announcement from Flycaster Brewing’s Facebook page:

“For the last 6 years, Flycaster Brewing has proudly been a part of the Kirkland community. We were the first craft brewery in Kirkland when we opened in 2014. We started this small family-friendly brewery as a way for Jeremy Eubanks to bring his two passions of flyfishing and beer together. We never imagined that it would grow into relationships that will last a lifetime and experiences that will make for some amazing memories.”

“Unfortunately, as the saying goes, “all good things must come to an end”. We have made the difficult decision to sell the brewery so that we can focus more on our family. We want to thank all of you for your patronage and support over the last 6 years. All of our customers and employees have been like family to us and we feel blessed to have formed so many amazing friendships through Flycaster. We hope that all of you have felt the same way and that we have provided you with some awesome moments to remember.”

“Our planned last day as Flycaster Brewing will be September 30. Following the sale, the name of the brewery will change to Brewing Savage Co. If you have gift cards, punch cards or Groupons to redeem, now is the time to come in and redeem them. We will have all of our merchandise available for sale so come get your memorabilia and stock up on those Crowlers of beer! Jeremy E. will be working the tasting room several days the next 2 weeks so be sure to come in and show him some love! THANK YOU for all of your support the last 6 years. It has been a wild ride and we have loved every minute of it!”
